Overview

When monitoring Windows Event Logs using SAM, you may need to generate a report that will display the details of these Windows Event Logs.

Resolution

Create a new web-based report in the Orion Web Console
  1. Go to REPORTS > All Reports > Manage Reports
  2. Click CREATE NEW REPORT
  3. Under Add Content, search for Event Log Message Details and select SAM Component Detail Reports and click SELECT AND CONTINUE
  4. Choose the application with Windows Event Log Monitor in it, then click Add to Layout
  5. Complete the rest of report configuration
