Copy files from Target Remote Machine to DMRC Client in DMRC using SFT

This documentation article describes the process in copying file from target remote machine to client machine using the SFT in Dameware Mini Remote Control.

Overview

Copying from Client Machine to the Remote Machine is as simple as a drag and drop process or by using the right-click menu once a remote session is on-going then right-clicking then copy files in the client machine which will then be saved to the Upload folder.
However, there are instances in which the customer need to copy file from the target remote machine to client machine using the SFT in Dameware Mini Remote Control.

Resolution

  1. Start Remote Session
  2. Configure Download Folder first: 
  3. Click SFT from the DMRC Menu (Make sure windows is not maximize for the machine to appear)
  4. Select Open Remote Drop Window
    • Copy File.png
  5. Drag and Drop files you need to copy inside the Remote Drop Window

  6. Check Upload Folder once copy was completed
****If copying failed, please check: The Simple File Transfer (SFT) shell menu may not be available in Dameware
