This article describes how to connect to a computer without using the Dameware Mini Remote Control Mirror Driver when the remote host would not allow its display to appear on the MRC console

Overview
MRC mirror driver was originally designed to mirror all images coming from the display adapter installed on the remote host to the MRC display where the Dameware console is hosted.
With the onset of Windows 10 release 1709 Creator's update, Microsoft has changed their display architecture from ground up and had all Windows 10 computers and Server 2016/2019 manage their display regardless if its an extended monitor or a remote view software across the network/internet. This rendered the display adapter only as a display medium and no longer the display source. This Windows feature has caused display issues from then on.
This came to be one of the main reasons why connecting with out the DMRC mirror driver is an effective solution to some MRC display issues like remote machines with no physical monitor, virtual machines and a frozen white MRC display screen that says "initializing data" for the longest time.
Lastly, graphics issues also gets resolved when connecting to the remote host without the MRC mirror driver including connecting to a laptop with a closed lid.

Disable the Mirror Drive for all connections
- Launch Dameware Mini Remote Control.
- Click View > Default Host Properties.
- Click Mirror Driver.
- Clear the Use Mirror Driver if available checkbox.
Disable the Mirror Drive for a single connection
- Launch Dameware Mini Remote Control.
- Click Remote Connect > Remote Machine.
- Clear the Use Mirror Driver if available checkbox.
