Configure the Windows Task Scheduler Connector in SEM
This article explains how to configure a Windows Task Scheduler connector to function properly on a Windows node.

Resolution
- Add a registry key.
a. Open Registry editor on the Node/agent machine (Regedit.exe).
b. Navigate to: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\EventLog.
c. Right-click EventLog > New Key.
d. Find name Key: Microsoft-Windows-TaskScheduler/Operational.Images below show where to add the registry key and its title:

- On the Node: Add a connector.
- On the SEM console, click Manage > Nodes > gear icon > Connector.
- Find Microsoft Windows Task Scheduler.
- Select the gear icon > New connector.

You can also add a connector in the HTML5 SEM Events Console (SEM versions 6.6 and later).
- In the SEM Events Console, click the Nodes tab.
- Under Refine Results, expand the Type group, and then select the Agent check box.
- Select an agent, and then click Manage node connectors.
- In the search box, type Windows Task Scheduler.
- Select the Microsoft Windows Task Scheduler connector, and then click Add Connector.
- Enter a custom alias name for the new connector, or accept the default, and then click Add.
- Under Configured connectors, select your configured connector, and then click Start.
