Overview

FTP 220 response provides the server details upon logging in.

For example:
When a client logs in they see:

[21] Sun 01Jan23 00:00:11 - (498245) 220 Serv-U FTP Server v15.2.3 ready...

Resolution

To take out the server details on FTP 220 server response, you may follow the steps below:

1. Go to Domains > Limits and Settings > FTP Settings > click the 'Use custom settings' button

2. Click Global Properties > edit the 220 entry

3. Edit the default 'Serv-U FTP Server v$ServerVersion ready...' message (note that the field cannot be blank)

4. Save the changes
