Configure DNS caching in Kiwi Syslog Server
This article provides steps on how to configure DNS caching in Kiwi Syslog Server

2. Hit the "Refresh" button to get the number of devices sending logs to Kiwi Syslog server.
2. Select "View" button to get a list of devices with their IP address and FQDN/hostnames.

4. Enable "pre-load the cache with static entries..."
5. Click the "..." button to browse to the "StaticHosts.txt" file located in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Syslogd"
6. Copy the IP addresses with hotnames into the "StaticHosts.txt" file and save.
5. Restart Kiwi Syslog service - After sometime, you will see that the IP addresses gets resolved to their corresponding hostnames.
Note: You will need to make sure the hosts list is updated with missing hosts/IPs whenever required.
