Configuration Wizard: Permissions check has identified 1 folder(s) with at least one permissions issue that cannot be repaired automatically. You may receive the following error message (the number of folders affected is variable) when running the Configuration Wizard. This is caused by incorrect permissions being applied to one or more folders on the Solarwinds server for which you are currently running the Configuration Wizard.

You may receive the following error message (the number of folders affected is variable) when running the Configuration Wizard:

Cause

This is caused by incorrect permissions being applied to one or more folders on the Solarwinds Orion server for which you are currently running the Configuration Wizard.

Resolution

Check permissions using the Orion Permission Checker and repair any broken permissions. Please note that Group Policy Object refresh may affect the ability to apply persistent permissions changes.
You may need to use the instructions below to manually apply permissions fixes if the repair using the Orion Permissions Checked doesn't work as intended.
