Patch Manager includes several reports  you can use to provide compliance information about your deployment. These reports are templates you can customize and rename for your compliance audits. You can access all reports from the navigation pane in the Patch Manager Administrator Console.

The following table provides a partial list of Patch Manager reports you can use to meet your compliance requirements. You can create a custom report, schedule the report to run at a specific time, and then receive the report by email in a specific format (such as a Microsoft® Excel® or CSV file).

These reports use WMI to query the MSI service on your managed computers and do not require an agent.

To collect the latest information about your deployment, inventory  your WSUS server and managed systems before you generate a report.
