Check the version of non-Orion-Platform products
Find or verify the version number of a product that does not run on the Orion Platform, such as Access Rights Manager (ARM), Dameware, Database Performance Analyzer (DPA), ipMonitor, Kiwi CatTools, Kiwi Syslog Server, Patch Manager, Security Event Manager (SEM), Serv-U, andWeb Help Desk (WHD).

This article provide instructions for finding the version number of SolarWinds products that do not run on the Orion Platform.
Notes:
- SaaS products, such as Papertrail, Loggly, and Identity Monitor, are not included because they do not have version numbers.

Access Rights Manager (ARM)
In newer versions of ARM, the header of the rich or Web client displays the version number:
In older versions of ARM, the header might display only the major version number or it might not display any number. In that case, do one of the following:
- Check the Apps & Features or Programs and Features section of your server Control Panel.
- Complete the following steps on a computer that has at least the rich client installed:
- Search for the file app8Man.exe in one of the following folders:
%ProgramFiles%\SolarWinds\ARM\bin
%ProgramFiles%\Protected Networks\8MAN\bin
Note: Depending on your installation, only one of the folders exists. - Right-click the file and choose Properties.
- Click the Details tab and locate the File version property.
- Search for the file app8Man.exe in one of the following folders:
Dameware Mini Remote Control
- Open Dameware Remote Support.
- From the main menu, click Help > About MRS.
A pop-up window displays the version number.
Dameware Remote Support
- Open Dameware Remote Support.
- From the main menu, click Help > About DRS.
A pop-up window displays the version number.
Dameware Server Administration Console
- Open the Dameware Server Administration Console.
- From the main menu, click About.
A pop-up window displays the version number.
Database Performance Analyzer (DPA)
- Log in to DPA.
By default, the version number is displayed in the lower-right corner of the login dialog. However, your environment might have used an advanced option to remove the version number from this dialog.
- After you have logged in, you can find the version number in the upper-right corner of the DPA interface, near the SolarWinds logo.
ipMonitor
- Log in to the ipMonitor Web Interface.
- From the main menu, click Help > About.
A pop-up window displays the version number.
Kiwi CatTools
- Open Kiwi CatTools.
- From the main menu, click Help > About.
A pop-up window displays the version number.
Kiwi Syslog Server
- Open Kiwi Syslog Server.
- From the main menu, click Help > About.
A pop-up window displays the version number.
Patch Manager
- Open the MMC Console.
- Select the ‘Help’ menu item
- Select Help from the main menu.
- Select About SolarWinds Patch Manager.
The About dialog displays the version number.
Security Event Manager (SEM)
- Open the SEM Events Console.
- Locate the version number in the footer at the bottom of the window.
Serv-U
- Open the Serv-U Management Console.
- Scroll to the bottom of the screen and locate the version number in the footer.
Web Help Desk (WHD)
- Open the Web Help Desk Administrator Console.
- Scroll to the bottom of the screen and locate the version number in the footer.
