This article describes how to check the database size and recovery mode using Orion diagnostics.

Collect system diagnostics
- Log in to the Orion server.
- Go to Start > SolarWinds Orion > Documentation and Support.
- Launch the gray icon for Orion Diagnostics and click Start.
A ZIP file is generated. - Right-click the file and select Extract Here.
- Go to the
DBInfofolder. - Open the
DatabaseInfo.csvfile. - Check the database recovery mode.
- Check the total database size.
The default DB recovery should be SIMPLE (Strongly recommended).
