This article describes how to check the database size and recovery mode using Orion diagnostics.

Collect system diagnostics  

  1. Log in to the Orion server.
  2. Go to Start > SolarWinds Orion > Documentation and Support.
  3. Launch the gray icon for Orion Diagnostics and click Start.
    A ZIP file is generated.
  4. Right-click the file and select Extract Here.
  5. Go to the DBInfo folder.
  6. Open the DatabaseInfo.csv file.
  7. Check the database recovery mode.
  8. Check the total database size.

The default DB recovery should be SIMPLE (Strongly recommended).
