Change the transient period in IPAM

Overview

Some times it is required to change the "transient" duration. This article describes how to change the transient period of the IP address on IPAM.

Cause

Resolution

Open the Orion Web Console.
Go to Settings > All Settings > IPAM Settings.
Click Manage subnet scan settings in the Subnet Scans section.
Update the Duration field (the default is 7 days, the minimum is 0.25 days, the maximum 340 days) under Transient Period or select Unlimited duration
Click Save.
