Cause

Expired Licenses for IPAM module

Resolution

Resolution 1:

  1. Make sure the IPAM module is installed on the system.
  2. Check the License Manager (Settings > All Settings > License Manager) to see if the license is an evaluation type, or the purchased license is already expired.
  3. Advise customer to renew the license and retain IPAM.
  4. Reactivate the license and restart the Orion Module Engine service.

Resolution 2:

  1. Make sure the IPAM module is installed on the system.
  2. Confirm with the customer if they will still use their IPAM module.
  3. If not, advise the customer to uninstall the IPAM module from Control Panel > Programs and Features.
  4. Re-run the Configuration Wizard.

Note: For IPAM 2020.2 after you have uninstalled and reinstall it and the web console does not work or you are getting "Menu failure", please follow the workaround below. This is a known issue with IPAM and this is indicated in the IPAM 2020.2.1 release notes.
