Unable to access the WPM Recorder - Configuration is incorrect. Please enter a valid configuration. This message is sometimes received when logging into the WPM Recorder with an Active Directory account.

WPM Recorder displays message: Configuration is incorrect. Please enter valid configuration. This will occur when logging into the WPM Recorder with a Window Active Directory account.

Cause
Username format is incorrect.
Resolution
First
Verify that the user you're logging into the WPM Recorder with has WPM administrator rights.
Second
Verify that you've entered the correct Orion IP or hostname. This will be the polling engine hosting the Orion website (Note: Additional Web Servers also work).
Third
This message is typically displayed when the username syntax is incorrect. Ensure that you're logging in with:
Domain\Username
NOT
Domain/Username
Even though the login prompt states that it requires a forward slash, this is incorrect. Login only takes a backslash. Alternatively you can use format: Username@Domain.
Verify that the user you're logging into the WPM Recorder with has WPM administrator rights.
