Can the Orion Database be hosted on Amazon RDS?

SolarWinds products running on Orion Platform 2018.2 fully support Amazon’s RDS Database-as-a-Service (DaaS). Products running on Orion Platform 2017.3 and earlier do not provide support for database installations in Amazon RDS. We recommend using a separate, dedicated SQL EC2 instance when deploying Orion in the Cloud.
