Overview

An error when you run Configuration wizards due to Encrypt SSL is check :Services configuration failed: Failed to execute step "Checking SQL Server compatibility..." - original error is: Value cannot be null. Parameter name: Data Source

Cause

This is because 'Encrypt Connections with SSL' is check in Configuration wizard

Resolution

1. Run Configuration Wizard
2. Uncheck the 'Encrypt Connections with SSL in Database Settings and continue

You should no longer get the error message and the Configuration Wizard should finish successfully.
