The following information is displayed when you run viewsysinfo in the CMC:

Available since LEM 5.3.2. However, in the later versions, the functionality and the displayed information has slightly changed. 

Note: All information from viewsysinfo is also included in SEM debug logs.

  • Information on the SEM appliance

    When accessing the manager submenu from the CMC (SSH to port 32022 on the SEM appliance), the viewsysinfo command displays details of the SEM appliance.

    The following are details on the SEM appliance:

    • SEM appliance version
    • Total and free memory
    • CPU count and speed
    • License information 
    • Product Support key

Press the following to view the information:

  • Page Up and Page Down - Moves the page forward or backward 
  • Space bar - Scrolls the page down
  • ? and / - To search (functionality is similar to the less command) 
  • Information on the hypervisor

  • Information on the connectors configured on the manager (Limited to the Manager, and not the Agents)
  • Information on the connector's revision and each file path

  • A list of all connectors on the SEM appliance and their revision numbers

  • Information on the queues

  • Information on memory options

  • The value SEM uses as the maximum space to fill threshold

  • Information on the output of iptables and ipconfigs included in the viewsysinfo results
