Overview

The session time out in Serv-U limits and settings used if you want to terminate the session of a user in a specific time. This limit can be set up from all levels such as Global, Domain, Groups, and User. It is applicable for all protocols, and no issues found so far. By default, it is set to unlimited.

How to set up automatic session timeout.
  1. Open Serv-U Management Console.
  2. Go to either Global, Domain, Groups or User.
  3. Go to Limits and settings.
  4. In the Limits tab, select Connection limit type.
  5. Click Add, select Automatica session timeout.
  6. Set the value in minutes.
  7. Click save.
