This article provides brief information and steps to resolve the Quota Violation error when monitoring AppInsight for IIS.

Cause

The issue is caused when the quota limit is exceeded.

Resolution

Change the quota limit. For example, if the you have 1,000 or more sites on IIS, the WMI provider will allocate more memory for polling then the raising of the memory quota limit.
