Note: The following procedure will create changes to the templates and all applications that use the template.

To make changes on the Application level, go to Applications Details page and make your changes.

Open your web console.
Go to Home > Applications, and select an AppInsight application.
Expand Advanced, and then change the value to x64 in the platform to run the polling job field.

Using AppInsight applications with 32-bit polling on 64-bit computers via an agent may prevent certain performance counters from collecting information and should be changed to 64-bit polling.

Open your web console.
Go to Settings > SAM Settings > Manage Templates.
Select an AppInsight application, and then click Edit.
Expand Advanced, and then change the value to x64 in the platform to run the polling job field.
Click Submit.
