Alert on Thresholds in the SolarWinds platform

This article provides information on how to configure alerts based on the CPU, Memory, Packet Loss and Response Time Thresholds being reached.

Network Performance Monitor

1.    Go to Settings > All Settings > Manage Alerts > Add New Alert.

2.    Under Trigger Condition in The Actual Trigger Condition section, click the dropdown Select field.

3.    Choose, Browse all Fields.
 

 

4.    Under Select field/event on the left is a list and select either CPU Load, Threshold, Percent Loss Threshold, Percent Memory Used Threshold, or Response Time Threshold to get the different Column Name selection which has the Critical and Warning Value Reached.
 

5.    Once Selected, back under the Actual Trigger condition, set the value to Yes. When the Node’s General or Override Threshold is reached, the alert will be triggered.
