Cause

  • The out-of-the-box Alert Name: Alert me when an IP SLA operation fails doesn't have Operation Status: Unknown as part of the actual trigger condition statement; it only has the Operation Status: Down

Resolution

  • Select the Alert Name: Alert me when an IP SLA operation fails the click on the DUPLICATE & EDIT to be able to customize the actual trigger condition statement
  1. Click on the Plus Sign (+) and select Add Single Value Comparisonimage.png
  2. Select Operation Status is equal to Unknownimage.png
  • Test the Alert
