Overview
Under certain conditions, the “Reboot pending” status (status ID: 5) is not cleared from an agent.
The issue occurs when:
-
An agent reports
rebootPending:truein theGetDetailsmessage, and the Agent Management Service (AMS) stores this state in the database. -
If AMS is restarted, and the agent subsequently reports
rebootPending:falsein theGetDetailsmessage, the “Reboot pending” status is never cleared.
This results in the agent continuing to display a Reboot pending state, even though it has already reported that no reboot is required.
