Agent status shows Up and connected but Agent polling is not completing

Agent Polling is not working. SAM applications assigned will remain in "initial polling", but the agent status is Up and connected.

Overview

You may find that an Agent shows up and connected, but data is not polled. On the Agent server, the following error can be found in the Windows logs:

A fatal error occurred when attempting to access the TLS server credential private key. The error code returned from the cryptographic module is 0x8009030D. The internal error state is 10001.
The SSPI client process is SWJobEngineSvc2 (PID: 9552).

Cause

Multiple agent provision certificates ( SWI-Orion-Agent*) are found on the agent server.

Resolution

Remove all agent provision certificates ( SWI-Orion-Agent*) in the agent server, and Reprovision the agent (C:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Agent\SolarWinds.Agent.Setup.exe).
