In Orion Platform 2020.2, some widgets display HTML code instead of interpreting the code

For security reasons, some widgets in the Orion Web Console no longer interpret HTML code.

Overview

After you upgrade your Orion Platform products to 2020.2, custom widgets that include HTML formatting now display the HTML code instead of interpreting it.

Cause

This change is by design, for security reasons.

Resolution

To include HTML in a custom widget, add a Custom HTML widget. For more information about using this widget type, see:
