Adding filters to charts in NCM on the Config Summary page
While certain nodes may have a config, but there is not a specified config that would be a running and then another that would be a startup, NCM has noting to compare, so the chart would show as Unknown. To avoid the unknown category, you can add a filter to exclude these nodes from the chart.

Pie charts on the Config Summary dashboard can show the status of some nodes as Unknown. This occurs, for example, when there is not a config specified as running and another specified as startup, so NCM has nothing to compare. Charts that show changes or conflicts would show the status of the associated node as Unknown.
To avoid showing Unknown as the status, you can exclude these nodes from the chart.

- On the Config Summary page, select Edit in the upper-right corner of the widget that contains the chart you want to filter.
- Add a filter to include only the nodes you want, or to exclude the nodes you don't want.
Note: You cannot use Custom Properties to filter widgets. To see the complete list of what node properties are useable, click the Show List of Node Properties link just above the submit button.
