Overview

The free version of Kiwi Syslog Server can receive messages from up to five devices. You must add those devices to Kiwi Syslog Server so that it knows which devices to accept messages from.

Note: To receive syslog message from more than five devices, you will need to purchase the licensed version.

After you add the devices, you must also configure the devices to send syslog messages to Kiwi Syslog Server.

If you configure more than five devices to send messages to the free version of Kiwi Syslog Server, it accepts messages only from the five devices you added.

Note: If you have the licensed or trial version of Kiwi Syslog Server, this option is not available. The licensed version of KSS can accept syslog messages from an unlimited number of devices, and it is not necessary to add the devices. Simply configure the devices to send syslog messages to KSS.
