Add a graph or chart that shows Interface Utilization in NPM

This article provides instructions for adding a graph or chart that shows Interface Utilization. This type of chart can be added to a Summary or Details View in the Orion Web Console and can offer single or multiple interfaces from single or multiple nodes.

Example 1:

1. Click on the Customize page icon.
2. Search for Custom Chart in the available resources.
3. Add a Custom Chart to the required view.
4. Once the page loads select the Configure this resource.
5. Add a Data Series, in the below example using the current network object as the data source and separate receive and transmit utilization through any device can be selected:

6. Click Submit. You should see results similar to the following:

 

Example 2:

If you want to configure this resource for multiple devices:

1. Add a Custom Chart for the device.
2. Add Data Series: Interface Total % Transmitted and Total %Received.
3. Build your Options:
