Add CPU and memory monitoring in bulk to your existing nodes

Overview

If nodes have recently changed their polling method in bulk from ICMP to SNMP, you may find that CPU and memory pollers are not assigned as expected to these nodes. These pollers can be assigned in bulk in the Orion Web Console with the steps below.

Resolution

  1. Log on to the Orion Web Console.
  2. Click Settings > All settings > Manage Pollers > select CPU & Memory > click Assign.
  3. Set the Group by to your preferred option.
  4. Select the nodes and click Enable Poller.

Note: The CPU and memory poller can only be enabled for devices that show exact match scan results. 
You cannot enable the poller to the nodes that show as not a match.
