Overview

The component monitoring services intermittently goes to Unknown state.

Cause

The application monitor's polling method is set to x86.

Resolution

Login to the Orion Web Console with SAM admin rights.
Go to the affected application monitor and click Edit Application Monitor.
Override the template and change the polling method from x86 to x64.
Click Submit.
