Account Limitations not working for IPAM Custom Properties

When a Custom property is created as an IPAM Custom property, IPam_Groups or IPAM_Node and Account Limitation Role is assigned to the custom property. This limits a user to a specific IPAM Group Folder or Subnet. However, the limitation is not respected when logging in to the SolarWinds Platform Web Console.

Overview

When a Custom property is created as an IPAM Custom property, IPam_Groups or IPAM_Node and Account Limitation Role is assigned to the custom property. This limits a user to a specific IPAM Group Folder or Subnet. However, the limitation is not respected when logging in to the SolarWinds Platform Web Console.

Steps to Reproduce:

  • Create Custom property (IPAM Group Nodes)
  • set Limitation as a Role (select how this property will be used)
  • Apply Limitation to account
  • Assign Limitation to Specific IPAM Group Folder & subnet
