AVBL FTP command
The AVBL command is useful when directory size quotas or user quotas are in place on the server. The client can issue this command and use the resulting information to determine whether or not an upload will be accepted by the server. This is particularly useful in the case of very large uploads where the limit may be reached near the end of the upload, effectively wasting the transfer time and bandwidth taken while reaching that limit.
