API Pollers not polling in SolarWinds Platform 2026.2

Some API pollers do not poll as expected in 2026.2 due to an unsupported Content Type.

System.NotSupportedException: ApiPollerToDpConverter: Unsupported Content-Type 'application/soap+xml; charset=utf-8'. Supported values are: 'application/json', 'application/xml', 'multipart/form-data'.

In 2026.2, the API polling pipeline was changed, and when the Collector Service tries to build or update the Polling Plans for API Pollers, if it encounters an API poller with an unsupported content type, it throws an ERROR and stops. Any API pollers that it didn't get to before the failure will not have a polling plan and will not poll properly.

This has been identified as a known issue and will be addressed in a future release of the SolarWinds Platform.

To identify any bad 'content-type' values in the database, using Database Manager, run the query below:

This will identify the names of the API pollers with unsupported content-type values. 

Using the names identified above, go to Settings -> All Settings -> Manage API Pollers in the SolarWinds Platform Web Console, and either set these pollers to a supported content type or remove them.
