Create a "user" that is a member of the Local Administrator's group on the ipMonitor system.
Then, try the following exercise to see if ipmext_mapi.exe successfully deletes the email:
- Run the Exchange Round Trip Wizard in order to have it send a test email.
- Login to the ipMonitor system as the user.
- Open the email from within Outlook and copy the subject of the email received.
- Open a CMD prompt.
- Go to the \program files\solarwinds\ipmonitor\ directory.
- Type the following command:
ipmext_mapi.exe -s "[subject]" -t 300000 ***Replace [subject] with the copied subject line***
- Press Enter.
