Table of contents

Overview

When a new application is installed on a server and it introduces new services to monitor, one can add a Service Monitor for each service, however, only one Monitor can be added a time.  To get around this and add multiple service Monitors in one easy process, simply follow the steps below.

Environment

  • ipMonitor 9.x or greater
  • Any version of Windows

Steps

1. Go to Devices tab.
2. Click "All Managed Devices".
3. Click "Add -> Add New Device".
4. Enter IP and Credentials for existing device.
5. When prompted to "View Existing Results" or "Rescan", click the latter.
6. In the results page, click "Modify selections".
7. Select the desired services.
8. Click OK.
