This hotfix addresses issues with proxy settings per transaction not working for WPM 2.2.0 running on Windows 2012 and newer.


You need only install this Hotfix if you make use of proxies in transactions.


It contains two replacement files:

  • SolarWinds.SEUM.Player.WatiN.dll
  • SolarWinds.SEUM.Native.dll


If this Hotfix is applied, both files must be installed on all machines on which the WPM player is installed.


WPM 2.2.0


To install:

  1. Stop the "SolarWinds WPM Playback Player" service using the Orion Service Manager.
  2. Back up the files SolarWinds.SEUM.Player.WatiN.dll and SolarWinds.SEUM.Native.dll to a different folder. These files are usually found in the "c:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Orion\SEUM\Player\" directory.
  3. Replace these files with the versions from this archive.
  4. Unblock both files using the following procedure:
    1. In File Explorer, right-click on the filename.
    2. Select "Properties"" from the pop-up menu.
    3. From the General tab, click the "Unblock" button and confirm the dialog
  5. Restart the "SolarWinds WPM Playback Player" service.
  6. Rerun any transactions that have proxies specified. They should now use the correct proxy settings.

To Uninstall

  1. Stop the "SolarWinds WPM Playback Player" service using the Orion Service Manager.
  2. Restore the original SolarWinds.SEUM.Player.WatiN.dll and SolarWinds.SEUM.Native.dll files you backed up during installation.
  3. Restart "SolarWinds WPM Playback Player" service.
