Fixed issues

 

  • This hotfix addresses the issue in WPM 2.2.1 where WPM players on some additional pollers are not delivering results

Environment

  • This fix requires Web Performance Monitor 2.2.1.

Notes

This hotfix can be downloaded from:

http://downloads.solarwinds.com/solarwinds/Release/HotFix/WPM-v2.2.1-Hotfix3.zip

It contains a single file, SolarWinds.SEUM.BusinessLayer.dll, which must be installed on primary WPM server.

Installation instructions

  1. Backup the file SolarWinds.SEUM.BusinessLayer.dll. This is usually found in:
    c:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Orion\SEUM

  2. Save the back up file to some folder out of the Orion folder structure. 

  3. Stop the SolarWinds Orion Module Engine service.

  4. Replace this file with the version from this archive.

  5. Unblock the file using the following procedure:

    1. In File Explorer, right-click on SolarWinds.SEUM.BusinessLayer.dll

    2. Select Properties from the pop-up menu

    3. From the General tab, click Unblock and confirm the dialog.

  6.  Start the SolarWinds Orion Module Engine service

Result

All WPM players should deliver results properly.

Uninstalling

  1. Stop SolarWinds Orion Module Engine service
  2. Restore the file SolarWinds.SEUM.BusinessLayer.dll from the backup  you created during installation.
  3. Start the SolarWinds Orion Module Engine service.
