Overview

Single Sign-on (SSO) transactions are failing.  Follow these steps to get the recordings and playbacks to work properly.

Environment

  • All WPM versions

Resolution

The following is a list of steps to take for recordings and playbacks to work properly:

For the player:

  1. Stop the player service.
  2. Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Orion\SEUM\Player (this location may be different if the player was installed elsewhere).
  3. Backup and edit SolarWinds.SEUM.Agent.Service.exe.config.
  4. Locate the line with: <agentConfiguration />.
  5. Change it to read: <agentConfiguration maxPlaybacksPerWorker="1" />.
  6. Backup and edit SolarWinds.SEUM.Agent.Worker.exe.config.
  7. Locate the line with: <playerConfiguration />.
  8. Change it to read: <playerConfiguration pendingRequestsWaitTimeMs="300" />.
  9. Start the player service.

For the recorder:

  1. Close the recorder if it is running.
  2. Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Orion\SEUM\Recorder (the location may be different if the recorder was installed elsewhere).
  3. Backup and edit SolarWinds.SEUM.Recorder.exe.config
  4. Locate the line with: <playerConfiguration />.
  5. Change it to read: <playerConfiguration pendingRequestsWaitTimeMs="300" />.
  6. You can now use the recorder with modified settings.
