Limit All Locations resource for account for specific locations

This article provides steps to limit all location resource for account in specific locations. 

The All Locations resource belongs the WPM summary view. If you prefer to limit particular accounts to see certain locations, follow the steps below. 

Note: Account limitations for WPM transactions will not limit the All Locations resource.


All WPM versions


Note: This is a default view, so please create a unique WPM summary view for this customer. This will help you select particular resources for the customer.


1. Go to your Web Console, and click Settings > Manage Views.

2. Select WPM summary and click Copy.

3. Go back and edit this copied view.  Rename it with your customer account name WPM summary view.

4. Go to your Web Console, and then click Settings > Manage Accounts > Edit.

5. Click Allow customization rights temporarily.

6. Expand WPM section and select the customer account named WPM summary view.

7. Click Submit.

8. Go to your Web Console, click  Settings > Manage Views. 

9. Select WPM Summary and edit it.

10. Find All locations resource and click edit.

You can use SWQL filters to limit the locations you wish to select for this customer.


Agents.Name = 'LOCATION1' OR Agents.Name = 'LOCATION2' OR Agents.Name = 'LOCATION3'

Replacing Location with the name of the location or agent you wish this to see.


You can find a list of current location by opening database manager and running this query:

SELECT TOP 1000 * FROM [dbo].[SEUM_Agents]


When you have achieved your target resources for the view:

1. Go to your Web Console, and click Settings > Manage Accounts, and then select Edit.

2. Disable allow customization rights and any other access you want to restrict.
