Unknown status on Transactions due to SWIS v2 faulted state

This article provides resolution to WPM Transactions that changed statuses to Unknown with no apparent reason.


WPM 2.2.0


The assigned player for the affected transactions is unable to play the transaction playback request. The player is set for Server Initiated Communication.


  1. Restart the WPM player and player proxy services on the Orion server (where WPM module is installed).
  2. Assign the player back to the Orion main poller.
