Overview

Accessing a website manually through Internet Explorer or any other browser is faster than the playback time on the player and/or recorder.

Environment

  • All versions of WPM

Detail

This is normal behavior. Most web browsers have optimizations in place to improve the user experience. The player and recorder lack these optimization by design. Without the optimizations, WPM is able to get a clearer picture of raw website performance.
