Error: Object doesn't support property or method 'createEventObject'

Overview

This article describes the issue when creating a recording for a website with a log in and during the playback, this error appears just after the inputs for the Login and Credentials: 

Object doesn't support property or method 'createEventObject'

 

Environment

All versions of WPM

Resolution

  1. Create a recording of the site. 
  2. Highlight and use the Image Verification (select the log in bar).
  3. Enable XY capture mode.
  4. Type in the Login.
  5. Highlight and use the Image Verification (select the password bar).
  6. Type in the Password.
  7. Highlight the Login button.
  8. Disable XY capture mode.
  9. Save and replay.
