Even when an incoming email account is configured to use an alternate outgoing email account, Web Help Desk still shows the "From" address as the default outgoing email account.


WHD version 12.3


You can override the email address from which the email will be sent.

  1. Go to Setup > Email > Outgoing Mail Account > Advanced E-Mail Properties.
  2. Enter the following:


This replaces the "From" address in all email sent with the account with the provided address. This overrides both the incoming email account E-Mail Address property and the outgoing email Web Help Desk E-Mail Address property.
