Overview

This article provides information on how to unmerge tickets in WHD. Unmerging the tickets can be done through the Web Help Desk database (i.e PosgreSQL, MS SQL, MySQL).

Environment

  • All versions of WHD
  • All versions of Windows
  • All versions of Linux 
  • All versions of OS X 

Steps

Here are the commands that you need to run to perform the following:

  • Find the merged tickets:

SELECT MERGED_PARENT_TICKET_ID FROM JOB_TICKET WHERE JOB_TICKET_ID = <TICKETID>

  • Unmerge tickets:

UPDATE JOB_TICKET SET MERGED_PARENT_TICKET_ID = NULL WHERE JOB_TICKET_ID = <parentID>
