Unable to start Web Help Desk on port 80


When you start Web Help Desk using port 80, the following error message displays on your screen:

HTTP Status 404 - Servlet WOServletAdaptor is not available
type Status report 
message Servlet WOServletAdaptor is not available 
description The requested resource (Servlet WOServletAdaptor is not available) is not available. 
Apache Tomcat/7.0.50


All WHD versions


Another application may be using port 80.


If IIS is running on the server, disable IIS. If the server is also running the SQL server, ensure that the SQL Server Reporting Service is not enabled.
