Overview

Unable to search any tickets using the Basic and Advanced search.

Environment

  • Windows
  • Linux
  • OS X

Cause

The 'Tech Permission' assigned to the tech(s) has some limitation to access\search tickets.

Resolution

  1. Verify the Tech Permission assigned to the Tech. Go to Setup > Techs > Techs > [Tech Account] > Tech Permissions.
  2. Open Tech Permission. Go to Setup > Techs > Tech Permissions > [Tech Permission].
  3. Disable the following permissions from the Tech Permission:
  • Limit to Assigned Tech Group
  • Limit by Company
  • Limit by Location Group
  • Limit by Department Group

Note: Have the tech log in again and check if the he can now search tickets.
