Issue

The Web Help Desk (WHD) Mobile application on Apple iOS does not receive push notifications when tickets are created or updated. This situation affects all customers using WHD Mobile with WHD 12.0.0 or older on all platforms. Hosted customers are unaffected.

Cause

The Apple Push Notification certificate bundled with  (WHD) expired on 8/4/13, causing push notification delivery failure to WHD Mobile.

Resolution

Replace the following file with an updated certificate:
/bin/webapps/helpdesk/WEB-INF/Helpdesk.woa/Contents/Resources/PushNotificationDevelopmentCertificate.p12

You can replace the old certificate with the attached new Push Notification Production certificate or by upgrading to WHD v12.0.1 (which contains the new certificate).
