Ticket notes are intermittently unavailable

Overview

When you view the notes in an Incident ticket, Web Help Desk hides the notes in the Problem ticket.

In this occurs:

  • The email updates for the Incident ticket display the notes from the Parent ticket.
  • All notes are visible in the client user interface and email updates.
  • The Show in linked child/incident checkbox is selected in Setup.

Resolution

Upgrade Web Help Desk to version 12.4.1 or later.
