This article addresses the issue where a Tech account with administrator rights is showing as a User account.


WHD 12.3


This occurs when a Client account is created with the same user name as the Tech account or the "Client Login Attribute" is set to "User Name" instead of "E-Mail."


Perform any of the following options:

  • Log in as an administrator and change your Tech user name or change your Client user name.
  • Change "Client Login Attribute" to "E-Mail" under  to Setup > Clients > Options. 
    Note: This option will affect all clients.
