Overview

Web Help Desk Survey is still being sent even if it was already removed from the Request Type.

Environment

All WHD versions

Cause

The user's email address is existing from the Notification Addresses of the deleted Survey.

Resolution

  1. Check if the user email address is still existing from the Survey Notification address. Go to Setup > Surveys > Surveys > [Survey] > Completion Notification Addresses.
  2. If the Survey was deleted already, open the Survey table from the WHD database.
  3. Run the following command to restore the deleted Survey.
    UPDATE SURVEY SET DELETED='0' where ID=<SURVEY ID> 
  4. Remove the user's email address from the Survey notification address.
