Retrieve the WHD Health Check logs from a Linux server

Overview

This article explains how to collect the Web Help Desk Health Check Logs from a Web Help Desk server running Linux.

Environment

  • Linux environments

Steps

  1. Log in to the Web Help Desk Administrator Console.
  2. Click Setup > General > Logs.
  3. Change all log settings from Info to Debug.
  4. Replicate the issue.
  5. Open the terminal and cd to:
    WebHelpDesk>/HealthCheckUtility/ directory
  6. Run:
    sudo ./start_healthcheck.sh
  7. When the health check utility is completed, download the healthCheckReportYYYYMMDDHHMMSS.zip file in the same directory and send the file to Technical Support.
  8. Provide the Health Check Logs.
